I lost/forgot my password, how do I reset it?

I lost/forgot my username, how do I find out what it was?

Your username is the email address you used to sign up with.

Can more than one person use the Canvas account?

Yes, once you’ve created a company account, you can then add other team members here – https://dashboard.wilddogcanvas.com/users

My Canvas subscription ran out, am I going to lose the already generated itineraries?

Generated itineraries cannot be viewed by you or your clients without an active subscription. We provide a (1, 3, 6?) month grace period whereby if your subscription is re-activated, your previously generated itineraries will still be available. After this time generated itineraries will be removed and will require re-generation from preserved data and images upon re-subscription.

I no longer wish to carry on subscribing but I still have clients away (or about to travel) using the service, will the already generated itineraries still work for them?

Part of what you pay for is the hosting of generated itineraries, so by default itineraries require an active subscription to work. However we are able to offer continued hosting under special circumstances. Please contact info@wilddogcanvas.com to enquire.

I think my account got hacked, what do I do?

What ways of payment does Canvas accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, and various other payment options through our Stripe integration. (https://stripe.com/gb/payments/features#cards)

Are the card payments secure?

Yes, totally secure through an approved third party. Canvas does not store your full card details.

Can I set my subscription to auto-renew?

By default the subscription is a rolling monthly subscription, so no auto-renew needed.

Can I upgrade to a higher level of subscription?

Yes. You will be credited with the remaining balance left on your lower subscription and charged at the new rate from the date of upgrading.

Does Canvas come with a free trial period?

We can arrange a tryout period on request. Please contact us for details.

Do I have to pay VAT when purchasing a subscription to Canvas?

If you are in the UK then the price will have VAT added to it at the point of purchase. If you are outside the UK then the subscription will be VAT free.

I don’t know how to use Canvas, how can I learn?

There is a full tutorial in the Canvas dashboard.

Do you offer individual or group training on using Canvas?

Yes, please contact us for details.

What are the minimum requirements for Canvas to work?

There are no minimum requirements as this is a cloud based product, you simply signup and begin using.

Can I brand the itinerary with my company’s logo and colours?

Yes. These can be entered in ‘Your Canvas settings’ in the Dashboard.

What is a PWA?

A progressive web application is a type of application software delivered through the web, built using common web technologies including HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It is intended to work on any platform that uses a standards-compliant browser.

What devices do the PWA itineraries work on?

A PWA is intended to work on any mobile or desktop device that runs a current web browser.

What browsers do the PWA itineraries work in?

PWAs work in Firefox, Chrome, Edge, Safari and Opera.

Is there a maximum number of itineraries I can generate?

The maximum number of itineraries is limited only by the plan that you have subscribed to. 1000 on the basic plan and 200,000 on the premium plan.

Once generated, can I edit the itinerary?

Yes, open the itinerary in the dashboard, make the changes and republish that itinerary.

A traveller booked a trip at the last moment, can I still send them an itinerary?

Yes, if it is an existing itinerary, simply duplicate it and publish and email a new link with their name as the lead traveller.

What happens if my client forgets/loses the itinerary URL?

They will need to access the original email that contains the URL. Alternatively you can retrieve the URL from the dashboard by navigating to their itinerary and clicking the ellipsis under ‘Actions’ and Copy Published URL option. Email this URL to the client.

How many users can receive the itinerary within a group?

There is no limit.

Should I personalise (with a person’s name) the itinerary or not?

Adding the lead traveller’s name is more personal but not necessary.

When the client is on a trip, I want them to contact in country host/contact and not me - how can I ensure this happens?

Post booking contact info can be added that will be displayed at the bottom of every itinerary.

Additional contacts can be added that will be displayed on the itinerary information page.
